Quite a few weeks ago I went to get my nails done but on my way to the salon, I decided to take a detour and pay TopShop a well deserved visit. Plus the sale had just started, I just had to stop and browse!
There was nothing that I particularly wanted from the sale but as usual I was waiting for something to grab my attention. This pink shirt made me run away with my thoughts just daydreaming of all the potential outfits that could be created with this one shirt.
I really like that it can be worn as an open shirt or a dress, you all know that versatile items are very important to me! I think I will be wearing the shirt more as an open shirt throughout summer ( well whatever you want to call this UK season). But it will also be a great trans-seasonal piece come end of September whilst we await for A/W lines to drop. This shirt was a bargain for £20 and I love that it’s got a slight sheen to it and one pocket at the top, which just makes it a bit more fashionable. I have chosen to pair it with some ripped jeans, simple black cami, necklaces and a choker to develop a street style with a bit of oomph. This is the perfect outfit to wear during ‘summer’ when the weather can be so unpredictable. Next time I will pair the shirt with my black cami slip dress and new western boots ( which I’m lOVING at the moment). This would also be a great festival look that doesn’t require you to spend much either… if only I were going to a festival this year *sighs*.
I have been obsessing over the Chloe Faye Dupe bag for months (as have the rest of the UK), it seems like forever! But honestly I’m obsessed but I just can’t afford to splash over £1200 for it. So as a fashionista, I have trained myself to always be on the lookout for a Chloe inspired Faye Dupe bag. I like how they are so classy but look edgy and modern at the same time, I don’t think this bag will ever go out of fashion, it’s a must have item.
So whilst I was queuing up in Topshop, I suddenly glanced to my left and fell in love with this black bag- CHLOE INSPIRED, finally! Again, what an absolute bargain for £30!! This bag just adds a ladylike chic to my outfits, this might be in my top five purchases of the year! But, of course I’m still searching for more Chloe inspired bags, I’m officials hooked and fashion hungry for more bags like this!
This is such a simple and cheap outfit that I’ve put together, the shirt and bag are so feminine but the ripped jeans and layered necklaces add a vampy glam to complete the look.
