Jump Into This Style

Jumpsuits are one of the easiest styles to wear, that usually requires no extra fuss.

The academic year might be starting but summer is not quite over yet, so now is the perfect time to embrace the all in one look that might even take over your favourite cocktail dress, even Solange Knowles scrapped the idea of a white wedding dress in favour of a white jumpsuit.

Jumpsuits can encapsulate catwalk style, a mixture of masculinity and femininity and gives you a feel of empowerment when you wear it. Now your sassy dress just lies limply on the hanger suddenly becoming a bit boring and an unimaginative outfit option.

Jumpsuits are becoming a popular wedding outfit look that helps you to stand out from the crowd and have your own individuality. I love this floral River Island jumpsuit I bought quite a few years ago, because it’s vibrant, it is only slightly loose at the bottom which gives it a boyish feel, however the slight v cut brings the femininity back into focus. This is perfect for Friday night drinks or could be worn more casually with some tie up sandals as pictured. I’m off to America next week, so this outfit will be a funky look to wear in San Francisco.

The best thing about jumpsuits is that require minimal accessorising or none at all, that just takes the stress of finding a top or bottom out of the equation. If you go for more darker shades and prints you will get more wear out of it during the winter months.

Just be sure to pick styles that are not baggy as they will drown you and be comfortable with whatever you choose.
