Fringed Hems

The love for 70s fashion really does just keep fuelling all of us fashionistas’ wardrobes but at the same tim emptying our bank accounts. This era is all about freedom and there’s so many styles to embrace nowadays and it really encourages women to wear what they want with confidence with a glimpse of history.

I have had this grey and white striped jumper from Topshop for quite a few years now and I love how loosely fitted it is, which makes it one of my go to casual tops, however to update the look for 2017 I have decided to pair the jumper with my new favourite skinny jeans which have a fringed hem to develop a more specific look.

I think this look really channels a genuine cool girl 70s vibe and I feel that wearing my hair out straight really plays on that era and makes the look stand out. The fringing is positioned vertically and that makes me appear taller than I actually am.

To complete the look I wanted an element of Californian fashion, so I wore my white loafers and my chain city bag, which makes the look sparkle that little bit more.

What are your thoughts on double fringing?
