3D Little Black Dress

I am loving ruffles right now as I’m sure many of you are aware of, if my last blogpost is anything to go by.

I found this little black dress in Zara last year, the high neck gives it a sophisticated feel and I just love the victorian feel of the ruffle panels running along both sides, which gives the dress a more 3D silhouette. Black is a colour that I want to wear more because it’s timeless, classy and lets be honest it does make you feel slimmer.

A Little black dress that has a bit of character and flounce to it can do wonders when it comes to updating your wardrobe. It’s feminine yet tough enough to take on the day in a striking style.

The no fuss straight style really helps to draw attention to the ruffles and makes that the focal point of the dress. My Zara chain city bag adds a Chanel tone to the look and polishes the very black chić outfit.

I often avoid black outside of work, but I think sometimes you can find a dress that works for both so you don’t need to avoid it. For more style points, I would wear my longline grey cocoon coat to contrast the length of the dress with the coat. The boots add a youthful touch and when it comes to spring some square sunglasses will make the look appear more 70s and retro.
