I recently bought this white top with a sheer metallic layer in rose gold from Zara. I love that the top layer is crinkled as it gives the top a more youthful touch.
White is a really classy colour to wear in spring/summer and can help to update your beloved skinny jeans during warmer days. This floral top is a more mature and elegant way to take on florals without embracing too much colour . The simple cut and floaty feel of it makes it so casual-chić. I’ll be wearing a light grey marl cardigan with it during autumn to transition the top into the cooler months whilst having a touch of cuteness to my outfits.
The floral print is so subtle and that’s what attracted me to it in Zara. Sometimes you need a little bit of oomph to a simplistic look and this top is perfect for those days.
I decided to really draw on the white and metallic aspects of the top so I paired it with my River Island white skorts with a rose gold zip trim at the top and my Zara metallic clumpy sandals. The shorts and shoes help to make the look more relaxed with an edge of street style luxe. Oh and I just had to add my Topshop hexagon sunglasses because life is so much better when you’re outlook is rose tinted.
I can’t wait to wear this outfit in the Caribbean later this year as this outfit is sweet and simple and sometimes that’s all you need.
