My sister and I found these black culottes in Zara the other week for just £19.99 – a bargain I couldn’t resist.
The weather has been quite nice the past few weeks so I’ve been living in these culottes for work. I tend to wear skirts at work but I tend to worry about whether some skirts are just a tad too short to wear at work without tights. Also being sat down for most of the day, I need to be comfortable so these are culottes are perfect. I also feel they can update any simple top and create an effortless yet stylish outfit.
I also bought this Zara white trench style top. I love the plunging neckline which is contrasted with a buckle neckline. It adds an Alexander McQueen feel to a casual white blouse. I teamed this with my black culottes to create a longline look and I wanted the outfit to look quite shapely and edgy.
To complete the look I dug out my western boots with buckles as they are cut out at the back so I can only wear them during spring and summer. I also think this makes the look more grown up for work and you can have a strong monochrome look that you can take from the office and to the bar.
What do you think to the look?
