Floral is the only trend which seems to be growing and growing in my wardrobe this year.
But I’ve found myself picking floral pieces which cater to my daywear and night time looks and that has been all down to the detail on the tops and dresses.
I recently bought this green garden floral top from Zara for just £19.99. At first I thought it looked a bit summery and it would not serve me well for the colder dates. But after trying it on with my grey longline coat I realised it was a pretty floral statement top with movement.
The double layer on the front gives the top a more feminine, flouncy and youthful touch, which will also work for the days when I wish to team it with an oversized cardigan. For this summer to autumn transition period, I’ve been wearing this top with Topshop black skinny jeans, suede boots and my red suede bag which helps to draw out all the bright colours of this green number.
This floral top will work so well with different textures and prints when it comes to winter as it’s a grown up print and has so much character which is important to me when it comes to layering weather. Florals are fun and add real femininity to our looks all year round.
