Autumn heritage

The blazer has once again earned its reputation as the sassiest staple piece for your autumn wardrobe.

You may have seen that I posted a picture on Instagram a few weeks ago wearing this £20 primark checked blazer. My eyes initially glistened after seeing the Georgio Armani dupes presented in Zara but for £79.99 it required some thinking… and fast forward 6 weeks later and I’m still thinking about the Zara ones.

Anyhoo, I did find this Primark blazer which I love because it has thin red lines running through the blazer which makes it look more expensive than it actually is. When it’s teamed with a simple top, tee or shirt it creates a sophisticated yet on trend look. A blazer also makes for a stylish alternative to a dress for a night out.

I decided to wear this checked blazer with my black sleeveless poloneck top from Primark, Gucci dupe belt form H&M,  my new square toe boots and ripped jeans from Topshop and finally my red suede chain bag from Zara. This was a comfortable yet streamlined look as this blazer is slightly longline and a loose fit, so it was the perfect opportunity to tuck my top into my jeans and bring my belt to the forefront of the look.

I decided that these sqaure leather boots from Topshop created the perfect heritage style that has a very british almost Burberry feel to it, just perfect for autumn.

This look can take you from shopping and straight for a chilled glass of white wine.
