This striped number was the second and final thing which I bought from Bershka in Dublin.
I don’t usually wear a lot of stripes but if I do, it’s to make a simple outfit pop a bit or it’s used as a foundation to some of my work looks. But I loved the red berry tones of this top and the oversized sleeves. The white stripes running through it ensures that the top looks more high fashion – I always try and look for striped clothing with white in it as it just separates the colours and gives a more grown up finish.
I decided to play with the cut of my top and decided to balance it out by wearing my black straight leg jeans. I like the oversized feel to this look and how dramatic it appears when I finalised it with some gold hoop earrings and thin layered gold necklaces.
The thing with a striped top like this, you can create a sports luxe outfit by simply swapping the boots for some white trainers. I also feel like a top like this will just be worn to death because it’s effortlessly cool and comfortable.
I could also wear a striped oversized top tucked into an a-line skirt and statement cross body bag if I wanted to look ultra feminine. This is definitely one of those tops which will just fall into all seasons. I added my Zara red bag and ASOS white cat sunglasses to draw out the colours more.
