There have been so many tweed jumpers in Zara this year but for quite a while nothing really jumped out at me until I saw this tweed jumper in the summer sale. I love that tweed gives my style a heritage chic, because sometimes it’s nice to have a more smarter and put together look.
I often find tweed items to feel quite tight on the arms and sometimes after a few wears it just tears away from the seams. This Zara tweed fringed jumper comes in a casual box fit with wide 70s style arms.
I love that it captures so many colours without looking too over bearing. I saw a very similar top from Mui Mui’s A/W collection and decided to channel that with my style by wearing blue skinny jeans. I decided to wear my green bucket bag from Zara as it draws the colours out more and adds an autumnal touch. It also has Fendi Mon Tresor vibe about it.
I have been wearing this tweed jumper with a leather skirt to play with textures and to create a more high fashion look. I feel like tweed just never goes out of autumn style and just works year after year.
How are you styling tweed this year?
